Before You Begin
To understand more about how your tax dollars are invested between service areas based on the taxes you pay, use the PROPERTY TAX CALCULATOR.
Please note that the values used in this survey are based on the average assessed property in Sooke, $806,000 (BC Assessment).
This survey is open to all residents living in Sooke – both property owners and those renting.
How input is being used?
Your input, along with Master Planning documents (such as the Transportation Master Plan and Parks & Trails Master Plan) will be used by staff to prepare a preliminary budget and service levels for Council’s consideration.
Information collected in this survey will be made public in a “What We Heard Report” before Council budget deliberations begin.
